The Complete Guide to Screenwriting for Children Film Television edition by Motti Aviram Humor Entertainment eBooks Reviews

This was really great information on screenwriting! My kids are both into screenwriting so this came in handy to help them out with their little projects. Very easy to read. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own!
I absolutely loved this book. The most important piece of information I gained was that children really don't mind being educated. Also that their lives are focussed on learning all the time- learning how to make their way in the world, become more knowledgeable about their world and make sense of the society they're born into. Until I read that, I felt kids were just dying to be entertained without constantly being educated.

Big, big newsflash for me. This book is thorough and entertaining with useful examples from the author's own vast experience. I have also realised I need to work with a team in future. At the moment my story is just a concept, but a book is next and eventually a screenplay... series and on and on. Everything in this book is useful and I know I'll return to it time and time again.
I read this book and reviewed it on my blog, Theresa's Reviews. As a certified teacher, I liked that the book covered child psychology for different ages, instead of just explaining strategies for writing. The book also explained the elements that help make a good screenplay. I would highly recommend the book to anyone looking to get into writing film and television for children.
This is an excellent example of how a book should actually be written. Moreover, it will be an invaluable addition to any author's digital tool box; predominantly for those aspiring to become screenwriters.

This a well written book that's packed to the rafter's with a wealth of information and experience that will encourage and inspire both novice and professional screenwriters alike.

Make no mistake about it; this is a must have for all budding screenwriters!

    A highly recommended read.
This is a great research book for someone who is interested in dealing with children through film, television, screen writing even teaching. I say teaching because it goes in to the mind of how children interact with things at different ages. As a teacher you would learn how to understand children by reading this book thetefore you could strengthen your childrens mind in ways you know they will learn from.

This book is over 6000 pages and I am not even done reading it yet. The author Matti has done her researched so good on children that it shows. It is well organized and offers real life tasks that has happened.

The author Matti talks about how using different things such as puppets can get kids attention therefore making it easier to portray them. It will definitely get their attention and get them interested in the project. You will also learn the three basic tools for writing space , sound and action. Also gives you great examples on what to write.

There is children psycology in this book quite a bit. Giving you more depth in how to interact with children. Which if you needed to catch a childs attention that would give you ways to assist the progress.

Overall this book is a great learning of understanding children. I enjoyed reading it and I will update when I am done.
I likely will never be a screenwriter, but a great resource for anyone who wants to become a screenwriter for children’s television will find the book “The Complete Guide to Screenwriting for Children's Film & Television” helpful. It is also a good read for anyone who likes writing for children in general. Writing for children is a wonderful way to let your creativity make a difference with children, either educating them or just making them happy.

The book enables the reader to understand children, like how they grasp humor and how to reach this target audience. As an adult, there is so much that we take for granted. It’s easy to forget that children are on a different level. The book is well organized and detailed. It is good at explaining children’s cognitive abilities and explains the audience for which you’ll be writing. It contains a wealth of information.
